A Different Path Forward
Guiding People from Crisis Toward Recovery, Stability, Purpose, and Independence.
Semper Fi Counseling, Inc. is a Wyoming 501(c)(3) nonprofit behavioral-health organization dedicated to helping individuals living with serious mental-health challenges build stable, productive, and meaningful lives.
We believe people deserve more than a revolving door of crisis, hospitalization, incarceration, and returning to the community without the support they need.
We believe there is a better way.
Building a Better Path in Rural Wyoming
Semper Fi Counseling is developing an 8–10 bed community-based residential treatment and reintegration program in Torrington, Wyoming.
The proposed program will provide a safe, structured, therapeutic environment where individuals can receive the support they need to stabilize, develop life skills, reconnect with their communities, and move toward independence.
Our approach will bring together:
- Individual and group therapy
- Psychiatric and medication-management services
- Peer support
- Case management
- Nursing and healthcare coordination
- Life-skills development
- Vocational and employment support
- Family education
- Community reintegration
- Recovery-focused residential support
Our Mission
To provide compassionate, evidence-based behavioral healthcare that helps individuals move from crisis toward stability, from isolation toward connection, and from surviving toward truly living.
Our Vision
We envision a Wyoming where individuals living with serious mental illness are not defined by their diagnosis, their past, or their worst moment. We envision a community where treatment, accountability, recovery, and opportunity work together. We envision a better alternative to the cycle of crisis and incarceration.
Help Us Build Semper Fi
We are seeking $2.6 million in capital funding to acquire property, develop the facility, purchase equipment, establish the program, and create the infrastructure necessary to serve our first residents. Together, we can build a place where recovery has somewhere to go.
